The MLTA NSW is launching a FREE Webinar Series this year aimed at promoting collaboration and communications among members about a variety of topics concerning the teaching of languages in NSW.
The first one has been organised for Tuesday, May 17 at 7.30pm. It will be in the form of a Google Hangout in which anyone can participate by clicking on this link. (Please note there is NO need to have a Gmail account to join).
Participation can be done through video (by direct invitation to a restricted number) or by written comments. Questions can be asked at any time and will be recorded in the Q&A section of the Hangouts and addressed during the webinar. Anyone can watch the video while the discussion is occurring, though.
A choice of topics will be provided a few weeks before each webinar so people interested in participating can vote on the most useful topic for them to be discussed each time. The poll for the first one can be found on bit.ly/ozlanged and you can vote from now! (Please note you will need to join this Google + Community to be able to vote and this will require you to have a Google+ account you can set up for free. However, this is not a requirement for participation, just if you want to have your say in the topic to discuss). Please see the picture below if you are unsure about how to join the community and vote.
We hope many of you will join us then to share your wonderful ideas and / or to simply learn from others. The recording of each session will be made available for future reference as well.
