AFMLTA Grant Information

The MLTA NSW committee will review all applications and award three grants in the following categories: 

• Category 1: Beginning Language Teacher (first five years of teaching)

• Category 2: MLTA Member (at least three consecutive years of membership)

• Category 3: Regional NSW MLTA Member (outside Greater Sydney)

 

Successful applicants will receive a $1,000 grant to help cover conference registration and some travel/accommodation costs.

 

Grant Conditions
1. Attend both full days of the conference (9 -- 11 July 2027)
2. Submit a 500-word report on their conference experience (including an overview of sessions attended and key ideas from the conference) for publication in the MLTA NSW journal Accents
3. Offer to present at an MLTA NSW professional learning event in Term 3 or 4, 2025
